Ceiling Repairs for Margaret

Margaret has been plagued with falling ceilings in her mobile home since last winters’ heavy snow fall. Her roof damage was repaired by her insurance company, but the ceilings in her home were left stained and hanging. The ABWK team led by Building Committee Chair Carl Adler, worked for a total of 4 weekends in December and January (2016) to repair, replace and repaint Margaret’s ceilings. Her home is now complete with ceilings in all rooms, and with no unsightly water stains.

The project brought together a wonderful group of students from Bridgewater State University as well as students from King Philip High School and Tri-County Vocational School. We are hoping that volunteer participation by local colleges and high schools will continue to grow as our need for additional volunteer support expands in the coming months and years.
