Affordable Homeownership & Community Impact
Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 6pm at Lake Pearl in Wrentham.
An evening dedicated to celebrating the power of affordable housing, the strength of community partnerships, and the life-changing impact of homeownership.
We are delighted to share that we are hosting our annual event, Sip, Savor & Celebrate:Wine Tasting Event on Thursday, October 22, at Lake Pearl in Wrentham. Over 250 guests are anticipated and will enjoy a fun-filled evening which will include wine tasting provided by Debucas Wine & Liquors, a Prosecco table provided by Talisa’s on Main, live & silent auctions, a testimonial from our recent partner family – and so much more. We hope that you will consider a donation again this year in support of our mission, building and enhancing the lives of families in need of affordable housing.
The proceeds from this event will directly support our flagship program, Build for Humanity, which involves collaborating with local families, corporations, and over 1,000 volunteers to build homes.
At Old Colony Habitat for Humanity, we envision a world where everyone has access to affordable housing. We strive towards this vision by partnering with businesses, individuals, and families to build and enhance homes. Your partnership is instrumental and appreciated in realizing this vision.

Old Colony Habitat for Humanity is proud to honor Attorney Wendy Kamens and David Kurzman as the Honorary Chairs of our 2026 Sip, Savor & Celebrate Wine Tasting in recognition of their extraordinary dedication, generosity, and unwavering support of our mission.
Wendy, a partner with Kriss Law / Atlantic Closing and Escrow, has played an instrumental role in helping Old Colony Habitat families navigate one of the most meaningful milestones of their journey—closing on their new home. Her compassion and guidance help ensure that each family’s path to homeownership is a smooth and celebratory one. Beyond her professional support, Wendy is a dedicated member of our Board of Directors and Land Acquisition Committee, where she generously shares her time, insight, and passion to help shape the future of our organization.
David, Vice President with Leader Bank, has been a passionate ambassador for Old Colony Habitat for Humanity, continually championing our work throughout the community. Through his leadership, he has helped raise vital funds for Habitat homes, organized impactful team build days with Leader Bank, and enthusiastically serves as auctioneer at our fundraising events—bringing energy, excitement, and heart to every room while helping us raise critical dollars to support local families.
Together, Wendy and David embody the true spirit of Habitat. Their generosity, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our organization and the families we serve. Whether through volunteering, advocacy, fundraising, or lending their expertise, they consistently go above and beyond to help us build homes, hope, and brighter futures.
We are incredibly grateful for their friendship, partnership, and steadfast belief in the power of affordable homeownership. Please join us in celebrating Wendy and David for the countless ways they help make our mission possible.
