OCHFH 2026 Celebration of Philanthropy

Celebrating the Power of Community 

On Wednesday, May 13th, Old Colony Habitat for Humanity gathered at Plainridge Park Casino for an unforgettable morning of gratitude, celebration, and community at our 2026 Celebration of Philanthropy event.

The morning honored the incredible supporters, volunteers, sponsors, businesses, and community partners who helped make our 2025 build at 5 Chester Court in Taunton possible for the Lopes Family. Together, we celebrated not only the completion of a home but the creation of stability, opportunity, and hope.

Every individual and organization in attendance played a vital role in advancing our mission to build strong and stable communities through affordable housing. From getting their hands dirty on build days to providing financial support, professional services, meals, encouragement, and advocacy, this project truly demonstrated what is possible when a community comes together with purpose.
