Thankful and Forever Grateful

As we move through this season of gratitude, all of us at Old Colony Habitat for Humanity are filled with appreciation for the incredible people who make our mission possible: our volunteers, donors, partners, and families.

We are deeply thankful for every hand that hammers, every heart that gives, and every person who believes in creating safe, stable, and affordable homes for families.

Thank You to our Incredible Volunteers

Our work is built on the dedication of volunteers who show up with open hearts and helping hands. Whether you’re framing walls, painting, providing lunches, or offering professional expertise, you are the heart of Habitat. Every board member who strategizes, every donor who contributes, and every volunteer who shows up – you each help build more than houses. You help build home, hope, and a brighter future.

The Power of Partnership

At Old Colony Habitat, we know it takes a village to build a home. Every project is a partnership, between our staff, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and the families we serve. Together, we raise walls, build foundations, and lift dreams.

The joy of watching a child step into their future bedroom or a parent finally exhale knowing their family will have stability, there’s nothing quite like it.

Welcoming our New Family Partner: The Marmol Family

This season, we’re especially grateful to welcome our newest family partner, the Marmol family into our Habitat community!  Sally, a hardworking mom of three, has always dreamed of a safe and stable home for her children: Amelia (13), Evani (12), and Jonathon (10). Growing up in Fall River and now working in Franklin, Sally is dedicated to building a future filled with opportunity, comfort, and hope for her family.

“Having a home means everything to me,” Sally shared. “It’s a dream I’ve had for so long, for my kids to have a place where they can feel secure and proud. Partnering with Habitat makes that dream feel real.”

We are beyond honored to walk alongside the Marmol family through this journey. From sweat equity to financial education to the joy of move-in day, we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Building in Gratitude

Gratitude is the foundation of all that we do. To our volunteers, donors, and partners: thank you for every moment you dedicate to building brighter futures. To the Marmol family – thank you for reminding us why we build! When we come together in gratitude and hope, we build more than houses, we build community.

With heartfelt appreciation,

The Old Colony Habitat for Humanity Team
