Tina Lopes is a hardworking, single mother, dedicated to providing a better future for her two children, Elson and Ava. Tina is a behavior specialist supporting people living with autism and other developmental disabilities. She is committed to building a bright future for her children and creating a stable and loving home for her family.

Her son, Elson, is an 18-year-old college student studying Computer Science at Bridgewater State University. In addition to his studies, he works as a lifeguard at the Attleboro YMCA. Her five-year-old Ava, is a bright and energetic child preparing to start kindergarten at Chamberlain Elementary School this fall.

For years, Tina has been searching for an affordable home where her children can grow and thrive. Currently, they live in a small two-bedroom apartment; she shares a room with Ava while Elson has the other bedroom. The high cost of housing and limited financial resources have made homeownership feel out of reach, but she has never given up on her dream to give her children a safe, stable place to call home.

“As a single mom, owning a home has always felt like an impossible goal,” Tina shares. “I want to give my kids a place where they feel safe and proud to live and to create that security for my own family.”

For Tina and her children, homeownership means more than just having a place to live—it’s the foundation for stability, growth, and opportunity. They are eager to settle into their new home in Taunton sometime in June 2025, where they can build lasting memories together.
