The First Baptist Church has been providing office space and facility to hold our meetings, free of charge. In addition, we have received continuous support from the church in deeds and kinds.

Many thanks to Bayer Diagnostics of Norwood, MA for their generous 2006 grant of $5000 for our homebuilding projects. Bayer employees will also participate on a corporate build day in Plainville on Sept 8, 2006.

Deep thanks to Jason Case and Case Materials, Inc. of North Attleboro for their generous donation of two truckloads of loam for the Plainville project. This will enable us to stabilize the grade on the sides and rear of the lot with plantings to prevent erosion, and will finish off the project in fine style.

Monica Dupre of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors presents Fundraising Chair Tom Warren with a check for $500 to support our homebuilding projects. The association is committed to contributing $15,000 to 21 separate Habitat affiliates across the Commonwealth.

Putnam Investments of Boston MA has donated $30,000 to the Plainville Project as part of their Local Initiative Program. This is the largest corporate grant ever received by Old Colony, and we are most grateful for the continuing partnership proposed by Putnam. Their support of our Gala/Auction, our first Golf Tourney in Oct 2005, and their sponsorship of the Hike for Humanity have helped us secure the funding for the entire Plainville project.

Benjamin Franklin Bank, of Franklin, MA, has donated $2500 for our Plainville project, and has contributed a group of employees to our first work days on the site. Additionally, the bank made a much appreciated contribution to our annual Gala Auction in April of 2006. Many thanks to Linda Fortier and Michael Piemonte for initiating what we hope to be an ongoing partnership with the bank for increasing affordable housing in our mutual service areas.

Rolls Royce Naval Marine, Inc. of Walpole, MA has supported our annual Gala/Auction with donations of auction/raffle items, and peak attendance by employees. They have also contributed $500 to the Hike for Humanity for 2006, and expect to field at least one team of hikers.

Scott Freerksen presents a check for $750 to Glenn Weidner, affiliate Vice President/Treasurer. Scott is a life-long Mansfield resident and local Realtor for Realty Executives Lioce Properties. Scott, known as "The Lake Guy", specializes in lakefront property utilizing his popular website MassLakes.com. Scott donates 2% of each commission to Old Colony Habitat for Humanity.

Many thanks to the Attleboro plant of Texas Instruments, Inc. for their generous financial contribution in October, 2003. This comes at a particuarly welcome moment, as we are procuring material for our ongoing Norton construction project.

Many thanks to the Home Depot Transfer Center, Clinton, MA for the donation of valuable appliances for our second and third Norton houses.

SYSCO, of Norton , MA, has generously provided a semitrailer for the past year which has been essential for storage of tools, fixtures and materials on the building site. We could not accomplish the Norton build without this very important assistance. Many thanks!

Betty Rosenberg and nine of the agents at Jack Conway Realty, Norton turned in a sterling performance as a team at the 2003 Hike for Humanity at Blue Hills Reserve, bringing in over $1200 in donations. Well done, and thanks!
