Saturday Build Day 10-29-11

Thank you United Church of Christ Medfield for volunteering with the build and also providing lunch!

Thanks Connor and Eric, Crew Leaders Tom and Carl, and special thanks to Kevin and Chris of Carpenters Union Local 51.

Thanks to all the volunteers, we were able to swap out the mechanical room door and also install a subfloor in the mechanical room. All windows and doors were insulated with spray foam. We got a good start on the siding before the rain started.

Toyota Sponsors a Build Day in Norton

For Toyota sponsored build this past Friday we had spectacular weather and a truly wonderful crew of people. We started the day by opening up the sill plates at the back doors so that the inch or so of accumulated water could be swept away. We finished sheathing the first floor and zip taped 2 sides, cut out and added headers for the 2 windows on the 1st floor, and finished the decking on the 2nd floor.
